I get a cake from my RH but is an outside bakery - how long in advance should I contact the bakery about what kind of cake I want and such...
a month before i would say.
One of the halls we originally looked at used an outside bakery. They told us to contact the bakery directly and ask them. Because although the RH knows how many weddings they are sending the bakery's way they have no idea of knowing what the rest of their work load is going to be... plus some places will have you come in a few different times... to pick a design, to do a tasting... etc etc... I would just call the bakery and see what they say as far as a time line goes...
