Cake Rave!
My husband surprised me with a cake yesterday for my birthday. He got my favorite (German Chocolate Cake) from a bakery in NYC called Make My Cake. I was skeptical, but he researched it and it was highly rated.
Well, they delivered it to his office and it was the second best cake (first was my wedding cake). It had just the right about of sweetness (it was not overly sweet). Absolutely delicious! The coconut and frosting was so good.
The cake was decorated hideously. The pictures on their website also show other ugly cakes. But it was superb tasting!
So if you are in need of a good cake, I would definitely check out make my cake. It was much better than Cupcake Cafe.
