Cake Rave!
I have to say I was a little worried when we first out ages ago that our RH uses a specific bakery. My mother raved about them, but, because italian pastries are delicious but way different than wedding cakes, I was still nervous.
Well FH, myself and my mother went into Francesco's yesterday for our appointment, met with Sandy, and I am so thrilled with everything! It was the perfect amount of attention vs. being left alone (I don't like when people hang all over us and force us one way or the other.)
The cake selections were great, the buttercream was really light and delicious, and the fillings! Oh, the fillings! Everything was so good - even the flavors I usually HATE like cream cheese frostings, red velvet and carrot cake! I still refused to eat the cannoli filling but my mom fixed that and took it for herself :P
I cannot wait to have some more cake! FTR we went with vanilla cake, with french creme & raspberry fillings....yummmm! We were going to have buttercream frosting because it was honestly some of the best I've ever had, and I've had too much lol, but the design we wanted could only be done in fondant, and since they cut the cost of fondant for our RH in half...how could we not!? So excited to get this check checked off!
