Hi we were shopping the other day for both of these and I had a few questions.. how much do these usually go for? The server set we liked was 40 and then 20 dollars to engrave our names & date... the glasses we liked were 50... and if we wanted those engraved it would be 10-20 depending on what we wrote... do people even engrave the glasses? Help!

Re: Cake Server & Glasses question
Im not having a cake server set so I can't speak.
But I wasn't too crazy about the options out there for toasting flutes. Either they were very beautiful and ornate crystal but also quite expensive or reasonably priced but looked cheap. So I decided to make my own with some glass paint.

Re: Cake Server & Glasses question
I registered for the lenox promises set for cake server, it was like $30. And I bought nice toasting glasses at Macy's. The glasses went on sale for like $20, plus I had a 15% off coupon. I wound up getting a set from one of my BM's. They were waterford crystal. So I had 2 sets
MY GLASSES ARE A LITTLE DIFFERENT, BUT WE FIGURED WE WOULD GET SOMETHING THAT WAS LIKE ART WORK, AND MY FI IS INFATUATED WITH DRAGONS AND CASTLES AND SO ON SO HERE IS MINE IT IS FROM THE FRANKLIN MINT, THEY ARE PRETTIER THEY HAVE DIAMOND LIKE IN THE BASE SO THEY SHIMMER AND THE GLASS PART IS CLEAR
