cake stands

For those who have had them at their wedding, did the hall provide? And anyone else that is planning on using them, same question or are you providing?

Re: cake stands

My baker (Black Forest) is providing a stand for the cupcakes that they're doing--Tommy said it's really nice, white ironwork, just the right size, sounds great. For the cheesecake that my mom's baking, I asked the hall and they don't have anything, so I'm going to have to come up with something. And for the groom's cake, I have a cake stand already that should work, it's one of the kind that has slots through which you can thread ribbon and tie a big bow. Since his cake is going to be a Giants cake, it's going to be a big red and blue bow. It's a small cake plate, but it's going to be a small cake, as we're going to have a LOT of cake.
