I'm thinking about getting a theme-related cake stand...
Aside from a fall theme, I also am going for 'Rustic Elegance' kinda feel. I'm not sure if this is just way too rustic though.
Side Note- I have incorporated a small amount of tree-related elements into the decor...table number holders are made from a little tree block, and the favor tags are made from 1' tree limb slices'
Is this overdoing it????

Re: Cake Stands-- need opinions!
we have a very similar theme and im using tree elements all over as well. i bought the same cake stand. just call whoever the house bakery is to make sure you buy a tree slice big enough first

it's cute! If you are having other rustic-y items, then I think it's fine!
