Cake tasting??

I didn't know that your expected to pay for your cake tasting samples....

My RH lets us choose from 2 bakeries

Rolling Pin Bakery

or
Create a Cake (aka Benkerts)

Rolling pin charges for each choice...***!

Anyone have any info on either bakery?

We went to A TAste of Home and did NOT pay for the tasting.

I'd start with the one that does not charge and if you like it, stick with them

I'm at SLCC too! FHs mom use to be in the cake making business and she said in her opinion Create a cake is better. She said the bakery its affiliated with is very good. That being said I still plan on going to a tasting at both just for my own sake.

GL and let me know which one you choose.

BTW, do you know what size cake we get? I was told just a sheet cake when I asked this past Sunday when we booked but that doesn't seem right. I was thinking a tier but how many?
