How far out did you guys go do your cake tastings.. I feel like I'm far behind on this lol.. there are 2014 brides already done with their cakes! lol..

haha - we went for our tasting in early March and it was perfect. 2 months before is more than enough time!

I have my cake tasting on Thursday and my wedding is next month. I might be a little behind. But I think doing it about 2 months or so before the wedding is good because you might change your mind about the cake you want if you do it too much in advance.

No rush b/c they only make it the day before. Im getting married in 53 days and I did it last week. You have plenty of time

I did mine about 2.5 months before. I did it a little early only because FH work schedule was good then.
I also waited until I had a better idea of what I wanted, in terms of topper and ribbon around the tiers.

Mine won't be until August I think. My RH does it in house, so it's not like I have to go to a bakery.

We just went this weekend (April 20) for my wedding June 15. It was at the bakery that my RH uses (Dortoni). I have no idea, but everyone seemed to think that was normal timing :)
