So, for all the Rolling Pin brides out there, I did a cake tasting this weekend. It was $12 for six samples, annoying, I know. It was basically six cupcakes split in half with the filling in between. I didn't like the marble cake, it was too dry. I don't usually like chocolate cake, but theirs is so good. And the show stopper was the raspberry mousse filling. OMG with the chocolate cake, it was so so so good. I'm so excited for my wedding cake now. I was disappointed in the cannoli filling. It wasn't bad at all, but once you've had cannolis from Dortoni's it's hard to have them anywhere else. lol. And I don't usually care for red velvet cake, but it was actually really good. The cream cheese filling was one of the best I've ever had!
Hope that helps anyone out there!!

Thanks for sharing your info!! I actually just sent them a request online for the cake tasting! I am a vegan so I can't even try any of them (although they did say they will have a vegan option available for me to try). I guess my FH will have to tell me how they all taste :)

Oooh, yummy check! I think that's where my cake is coming from also. When I went to the bridal show at Lombardi's they were there with a few different ones to taste and they were all delicious!
