so im planning on getting a *surprise* groom's cake, and i was just wondering if anyone knows any cake places that do tastings..i tihink this is one of the things ive always been most excited about for the wedding, but since my cake comes with my rh i dont think we get to do a tasting

Madame Butterfly Cakes will be serving samples at an event at Bloomingdales Roosevelt Field 4/29, 7-9pm. You have to register for the event, call Bloomies at 516-873-2743.

I see that your getting married at Jericho Terrace---so am I----The cake place they use is Dortoni. I would call them and ask for a tasting. You could even bring FH and tell him it's a tasting for the wedding cake.

My cake comes with my RH and i get a tasting with the bakery - you just call up the bakery yourself
