this was my brother's cake he spent like a gabillion dollars on whatever made the icing look like ribbon and everyone at the wedding thought it was just ribbon around it LOL i will try to find out where they got it from!

Here are a few but I have a question:::: I was told that my RH includes the cake...do they make these or would I have to go somewhere else for such fine detail? One cake here that I have attached it a WM cake I think it is really nice but Im not sure if it entails as much craftsmanship...what do you think?

well i know i have read reviews where brides did a few things when their hall includes the cake

you can:
A. just work through the hall if you are changing small details on their offered cake ( i am doing this, i want a cake that has hearts to just be changed to snowflakes)

B. if you want more work done you can go directly to the bakery the hall works with and work with them closely and probably pay them the difference

C. if you go to a completely different bakery most halls with reimburse you the amount they think their cake is worth

I didnt know we were doing cupcakes....here I go!

Do RHs make these too? how do you think they taste...can you only get cupcake flavors (chocolate and vaniilla)?

I don't see why not. It's made from the same cake mix and there's no filling. The only difference is the decorating!

NO they make cupcakes in alot of flavors...The place i am getting my cupcakes from have red velvet cupcakes which are amazing, peanut butter, pistachio and a bunch of others

Oops... I skimmed the post... anyway it's cake mix they use they can do different flavors and I'm sure if you wanted they can put fillings in just like a mini cake!
