I am attempting to make my own crystal monogram cake topper this weekend. I was wondering if you only put the swarovski crystals on the front...or can you put them on both sides. I mean..I understand it's up to me..but what is the norm? Thanks girls.

i'm thinking of doing my own too. can i ask where u got the letter and the crystals? also how much did u spend? TIA!!!
btw i plan on only doing the front

I found a guy on ebay that sells 5' mirror letter for $20 with shipping included... do you think I can find it cheaper anywhere else?

I think that when I glue them down that they are going to slide all around...
What did you do to avoid this!
As for your original question, My FH wants to do both sides... I will see how many paitents I have left after completing the first side to see if we need to do the other.

I believe it's only one side. But it's up to you. Most places you order from only do one side as well.

I found this website that has the letters www.woodlandmanufacturing.com 1/8' allum. letter and for the crystals www.jewlerysupply.com the person used 4,5,7 mm crystals. I wish i could find a picture.

if you have the patience to do both sides go for it.. beacuse it takes sooooo long, most peole do one side

I would do one side, It would take soooooooooooo many crystals to do both!!! and not to mention time and patience but if you're willing do it!!! XOXOXO Kitty
