Cake topper and champagne flutes?

Are these 'must haves' at a wedding? I wasn't planning on it.

I dont think they are must haves. The Champagne flutes will probably be supplied by ure reception hall if u dont have ure own.

I have my own flutes, but I really liked them and asked FH to get them for me as a VDay present last year. We had wanted to do a custom cake topper of us & our dogs, but I decided against spending $1200 on something like that!!! So for me, if it wasn't going to be 'us' and totally cool & special, I don't feel I need a cake topper.

My cake topper is for the groom's cake at the rehearsal dinner but I'm not having a cake topper at the wedding (cake will have flowers on it instead).

I got a set of Waterford toasting flutes at my engagment party so I will be using those at the wedding. If you don't have toasting flutes, you will just use the regular glasses supplied by your hall.

My best friend gave us our toasting flutes for an engagement gift, and my cake topper is being made by another good friend. She is taking the Lenox ornament (the one I use on here) and making it into a cake topper so I will always have it.
