It might be too heavy or unstable for the single cupcake atop the display. Is it possible not to have one cupcake up top, and then have a flat-bottomed topper on the top tier of the display? That might work.

Maybe. I def. wouldn't try to put it on a cupcake, but maybe some sort of top tier. Guess I'll have to ask the baker what they're putting them on!
