Cake Toppers - anyone NOT using?

would it be really weird not to have a cake topper? FH hates them and I am sort of indifferent.... opinions?

I hate them too, we are not using one, my florist is going to add some nice flowers.

We're not using one...just a cascade of orchids on the cake.

Nah, no topper here...like a simple cake and besides, my MOH had a cake and she was too funny when she referred to it and I didn't remember seeing it at all!!

My cake is a sailor valentine on the top so I can't have a topper anyway. Pic is in my album.

I agree - I can't find anything I like either, so I think I will be doing just flowers.

definately not a cake topper fan, having fresh flowers on the top tier instead that match my centerpieces

We didn't have anything on top! I liked it that way and honestly until I came on this site would have never thought of it!
