FH and I can not decide on a mutual cake flavor, and filling.....if its multiple tiers, can one teir be one flavor and another tier another flavor?? Im afraid the flavors will mix and itll be terrible. Just wondering if this is possible....although i thinking its not.

It's def. possible. For our engagement party we could not agree on a cake flavor and all we had was a sheet cake. We wound up doing half the sheet cake yellow cake with banana and choc. pudding and the other half yellow cake with strawberry and cannolli filling.
I am certain that they can make each tier different flavors and cakes.

I think you can definitely do it! I think for HWC we'd have to go to the cake place directly to taste cake, right? Are you doing that?

This is possible because i know someone that had it done. The catering hall didnt supply it though. They got it from an outside bakery.

we did it!
our cake was 4 separate cakes & they were all cut separately & 2 different flavors....

Yeah I don't think you do at your HWC tasting but I think you can make an appointment directly with the bakery if you want to? I don't remember....

i like chocolate and mochas....honestly...i want my wedding cake to be dunkin heins yellow cake and milk chocolate frosting!
FH wants some kind of fruit....hes more sophisticated to my kiddie choco craving!

hehehe....I think FH wants something pretty simple....I want cannoli filling but he doesn't like them so ah well.....at least neither one of us likes fruit in cake!!
but seriously, I went to a wedding where 1 tier was lemon, one was raspberry, and one was chocolate chip.....you can definitely do multiple flavors!
