Cakes

I'm havign a hard time deciding on cake flavors. We're definitely having two different layers b/cFH wants vanilla cake with canolli filling - I hate canolli. I'm trying to choose from these others. What would you all prefer?

My vote would actually be for vanilla cake with raspberry filling, but they all sound great. I'm getting hungry already...is it lunch time?

I almost chose the peanut butter, but then I decided to go with the mocha, because it's more unobtrusive.

I hate peanut butter! So I chose raspberry.

I would avoid peanut butter - many people (myself included) are allergic.

I had a cake with chocolate and peanut butter and it was actually pretty yummy, but my preference will always be for chocolate and raspberry.

How does the catering hall deal with different flavors on different layers? What guest gets what? Do they get a choice? BTW... personal preference - Chocolate with Peanut Butter... I want that for my FH, too. But the allergy thing is always tricky for some guests.

I decided on devils food cake with choc pudding filling.

I thought that might be too much chocolate, but I tried it and it was delish!

I LOVE peanut butter but a lot of people don't or have peanut allergies. I would definately stay away from that one.

I would LOVE the peanut butter filling as well (OMG I am going to 7-11 on my lunch break to get a package of Funny Bone's), but you really have to watch with people's allergies! I would go with the raspberry filling.

I LOVE the chocolate/PB combo but I think that most guests would prefer the chocolate/raspberry.

Chocolate cake with mocha all the way!! We did that plus cappucino filling. It was SOOOO good!

OMG - I love funnybones - so good. The bakery said he could do one layer of each. If guests don't like one, they request the other. Hmmm....this is tricky. ...
