cakes?

Are you having your RH do the cake, or are you having it done someplace else? It's included in our price, but I'm not sure if they'll be able to give us a design we like. TIA!

My RH does it but they said they can make any design I want. Just to bring them a picture. Hopefully it will look like the picture. I thought about going elsewhere but why? It will save me $$$$ I can spend somewhere else.

my rh is providing cake, we can pay to have different designs i think, and i heard the cake tastes horrible, i would have used an outside baker, but no more $$ left in the budget, so we are going with whatever they give us, nasty tasting and all!!

Our cake is included in the RH price and I have heard pretty good things about the bakery. The only challenge will be picking a design because they have their options arranged in price tiers - some things cost more than others (aka, paying extra above the RH price) so I'll just have to see how much the ones I like are going to run and modify if it looks like too much!

we didn't pick one of the house cakes but my RH used their bakery (dortoni's). it was SO yummy and still included in our price. talk to ur BM or maitre d and i'm sure they'll help u out...especially if u have a photo to show them! if they cant i know dortoni's is in nassau - and they're AMAAAAZING!!!!!!

we are getting our cake from somewhere in nyc. we want a really cool different cake. we're probably going to use colette peters from the food network.

I'm second guessing the RH bakery. They said we could show them a pic but when I went down there I just wasnt convinced it was going to be what I wanted.

There is just something about being able to pick out your cake and be able to taste it to decide what flavors you want etc. etc.
