Cakes!!!!???

I am so clueless about cakes and fillings...

this is for my shower

Personally, maybe I just cant remember but I dont think I ever loveeee cakes at any wedding/event so im trying to think of unique cakes/filling combinations, etc.

Can you guys help please!

This is what i like but i know these things are pretty odd to be putting in a cake and i have no idea what they would taste like together. Im very weird and when i like two things I could eat them together and theyll always taste good together but most people arent like that and i dont want to make people barf lol from the combo...

-ok, so NUTELLA! but i doubt they would do that for me, right?

-banana cake (like not fresh bananas, but like banana loaf cake,mmmm

-fresh rasberries

-fresh strawberries

-ganache

-cannolli cream (but unless its reallllly good, i would rather not have it at all)

-and vanilla or chocolate frosting like the one that comes from the dunkin hines little plastic jar

they will think i am crazy if i ask them for a cake with any of these things, right? and what goes together

maybe you can do a hazelnut filing with chocolate cake (kinda like nutella)?

How about either chocolate or yellow cake with cannoli cream and fresh strawberries and chocolate ganache frosting?????
