Cakes

All of these pics of cakes have me thinking...are your cakes included in catering hall? Is anyone getting them directly from a bakery? What if you want to upgrade the cake your hall is giving you?

Mine is included, I can pretty much give the local bakery a picture of what I like (within reason) and I was told that was it! After reading all the cake stories, I'm a little doubtful of the outcome.
But my hall (Bellport CC) uses a local bakery in Bellport so it's not their own.

our cake was very important to us. our hall owns a bakery as well and the cake is coming from there and is included in the price. however, if we want to upgrade we just have to pay a little extra more depending on what you want. different halls offer different deals on the cakes- some only offer basic cakes with their deals and others offer fondant cakes with their deals. you have to ask when choosing a hall.

Our cake is included. It is a three tier cake with a waterfall under either it and I am putting a dozen roses in between each layer.

ours was included at the catering hall, but we opted to not have them do it. We did not like the bakery so we went with the bakery in smithtown/st james are. It was great!

I forgot to mention. we told the catering hall we did not want the cake from them we got a credit $1pp.

Ours was included but I was able to choose the style and personalize it. I went to the bakery that made it to do a taste test before the wedding and I loved it.
