Caleps??

The other day a friend of mine mentioned a really good Italian/American band out of Brooklyn called the Caleps. I can't find any info on them and she doesn't have a number either. She only remebers the name. I just emailed diamondgirl cause I think she is using them, but if anyone has a name and number I would like to call and see if they are available!! Thanks.

Sorry hun, I never heard of them.. However, a gf of mine had an Italian American band and they were MAGNIFICENT!! To be honest with you, I was going to book them even after I already had a band, but they were booked..

They are called Oasis.. based in Jersey.. I think they have a website.. www.oasisnj.com

well, no, they don't well I don't think they do.. but I wasn't looking for that.. Oasis really left an impression with me though.. Not that I'm not happy with my choice, I booked a fairly reputable and well known band.

Babybride - just so that you know the caleps book years in advance. A friend of mine tried getting a date booked with them and they said that the couple had booked like 3 years in advance. Not to mention that they were exremely pricey!
If I can, I'll try to get the # for you, if she still has it.

They are very popular...VERY EXPENSIVE...
But awesome.
We are using Opera3000 Just as good...less $$$

Try calling the catering halls. Try Russo on the Bay they may have some information. They are very popular and are a great band. I inquired but I cant find the #. they are kind of costly.

Babybride - I'm sorry, I checked with my friend last night and she threw out their info. I think the best thing to do would be to call catering halls. Try either El Caribe; Russos on the Bay; or even The Riviera

I heard that the Caleps were very good but expensive. The band I am using is a Italian/Ameircan band. Two of the musicians are friends of my FFIL.
