Anyone attempting their own caligraphy? I just bought a book on it, but am still trying to figure out the angle thing, I feel like I need a compass just to figure out how to angle the pen.....
Any tips would be sooo helpful right now!!!

Michaels and AC Moore offer one time classes for it. I took the class at Michaels - I'm no calligraphy expert but it looks better than my normal handwriting!

I did them for my place cards. I did a combination between cursive and italic. It's by no means historically accurate. Even your regular cursive will look more elegant with the calligraphy pen. Just practice and you'll get the hang of it.
I still had to use pencil marks, which I later erased, to keep it straight. The end results were OK.

y not print on the computer.. and use a script calli font??? i printed what i wanted and i traced it later on my paper.. it came out pretty nice...
