call from elsa jewelers..

did anyone get a call from them? I got a call saying i entered a contest and i got a gift certificate and i need t call...anyone else get this too? the only contest i enter was the one that past..u had to go to the bridal show thing to win that ring.... i was wonderng if this a lure..like those pots and pans seminar i went to

I think they are legit...I remember I entered a contest at a bridal show.

I agree with Debbie. They have a good reputation and wouldn't try to solicit you like that. Definitely give them a call!

i have absolutely had it with elsa jewelers and i was planning on checking them out, but not anymore ... i received 4 calls yesterday from them in one day and about the same thing, i am working all day and cant be getting all of these un- important calls all day. i hate when vendors do this....sorry jsut had to vent!

i am not going to call back...if it is gc for 50-....eh...if they were calling to tell me i got a free wedding band ..that would be cool...but doesnt seem like it. the only contest i entered was the write something about you FH...but i thought that contest was for that bridal show u hada go to.

i am just going to go to my jeweler who did my e ring and have him make me my band.

I'm in the same boat. They called me and told me that when I entered the contest on LIWeddings.com, that I'm now elligible for a gift certificate towards custom made rings. Then, she asked me 'when are you planning to buy your rings?' I said 'end of September/October' and she said 'UH, yeah, keep us in mind.' UMMMMMM where's my gift certificate then?????? I think that's absolutely ridiculous. Don't call me and tell me that I have somethinig and then take it away b/c I don't want to come in right now! I absolutely HATE the mail, telephone calls, and emails that I receive from vendors, and it's b/c of LIWeddings...I unsubscribed, but still get solicitations! I know the vendors get my information from LIWeddings b/c they're all LI Vendors...I live in NYC!

I'm tired of getting them in the mail!!!

I got the call from Elsa also, but I already have the $50 certificate from showing up that time for the prize contest. The only ring I may get through them is my wedding band, since I already found my FH's wedding band and getting it at the same place we got my e-ring from. (unless they plan on giving me ANOTHER $50 certificate!!)

Funny though, the only vendors ads I keep getting in the mail are the ones I have booked already!!! Don't these people check your damn profile before they stick you on their mailing list?? Why send me a DJ ad if I already booked one??

I got a call from them a while back telling me they had met me at chateu briand, which I have never been to, and they wanted me and Chavez, whom i have never met, to come to their showroom.
