This morning as I was coming in to work there was a woman in front of me who was wearing one of those tight shirts that look like see-through lace.... (know what I mean?) Well her shirt was white, and she had a white bra underneath, and she might as well have not had a top on at all. You could practically read the brand name of the bra she was wearing. She was a LOT older than me too, I'd even say late 40's... I want to turn her around and say 'GO HOME! YOU'RE NOT DRESSED YET!!' The only time those shirts look good is if they're under a jacket or a blazer, so you can only see a little of the lace peeking out. I don't think they're meant to be worn without anything else! It was a scary way to start the day... I think some people just don't have mirrors in their homes.

Re: Call the fashion police!
Was she carrying a jacket or sweater? Maybe she was just walking like that because of the humidity.
Sometimes fashion scares me....

I just do not understand people. What in the world would not only possess you to wear that out of the house, but to WORK none the less!

eww....lace shirts, or any see through shirts for that matter, are only to be worn with a neutral color bra with no lace. ...

Re: Call the fashion police!
I have one of those shirts you are talking about. It's a tank top the one I have. The fishnet like ones right? Mine is orange and I wear an orange tank top under it. I think it's so so cute! Would I wear it to work? prob not. Would I wear nothing under it? prob not. Too each his own I guess.

Re: Call the fashion police!
Speaking of crazy get-ups...there is a girl in my imprint who was wearing a black pleated skirt, a printed cotton tank top and fishnet knee socks with clunky lace-up shoes yesterday. Whoa! Somehow I feel like fishnet shouldn't come to the office and especially not in the shape of knee highs

Re: Call the fashion police!
hmm... I think fishnet is ok (especially the wide fishnet) but definitely not in knee-highs or thigh-higs where the top is showing...
