What is a good price to pay for calligraphy of envelopes? (the computer printed kind)

and placecards?

$1 per pair of envelopes (inner and outer)
and .75 per place card (which includes the cost of the calligrapher supplying the cards)

we used Follow Your Heart (LIW vendor) for computer calligraphy and that is what Cathy charges.

I used inkspun.com and they were $.39 per envelope and $.34 (printed in color) for the inner envelopes ($.29 if you want them printed in black). I thought that was a great price. We had 118 envelopes and paid about $108. There is an $8 set up fee but free shipping.

I had to mail them my envelopes and I got them back in a week.

I'm going to be hiring EZ Calligraphy (an LIW Vendor) again in a week or two - Michelle is great & she only uses laser printers. No matter who you go with, I'd recommend checking with all of the people that you call to make sure that they use lasers. My friend had hers done on inkjet printers & they looked great before she mailed them, but it rained that weekend and when I got mine the ink had smeared A LOT and it wasn't so pretty anymore Here are some Reviews about EZ. Not sure about computer calligraphy because I had hand calligraphy done. I paid $1.25 per set (inner and outer) and $0.25 for each place card or favor tag.
