calligraphy

Hi

I don't want to spend a lot on calligraphy. I was thinking about just printing them off the computer. Has anyone done this and how did it come out or can you recommend someone that isn't so expensive?

I had hand calligraphy done -- for both inner and outers they were $2 each plus a one time custom ink color of $10. VERY reasonable. Personally, I don't like the look of computer printed envelopes on a wedding invitation.

I put all my inner and outer envelopes into my printer at home and did them all myself.

100% free.

It took me a few tries to get the format and spacing right, but I love the way they came out. My dad didn't even know they were just print-at-home.

I also didn't care about them looking perfect, which helped. I was just glad they all got delivered! So the font must've been clear enough! (I used Lucida Calligrapher)

only paid $5 for the ink fee- only if the ink isnt black

heres her price list she sent me

$1.25 per outer envelope only
$1.75 per set of inner/outer envelopes
$1.00 for inner envelopes only
$ .50 per place card/table/escort cards
$5.00 ink fee (for colors other than black)

I paid $1.60 for both outter and inner and got them done by a lady who does it out of her home in Bellmore. SHe did a really nice job.
