CALLIGRAPHY HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi everyone,

I miss all of you so much.

I no longer have a accessible PC to log on to so I am at FMIL's again doing everything I could like complete registering, HM research (since travel agent SCREWED up the last 4 nites of our Italy trip...

Please help me...I am so stressed out! Today makes my three month mark and I just ordered the invites last week. In the meantime, I was trying out my handwritng for the outer addresses and it just isnt working.

Can anyone give me calligraphy price estimates on getting the invites done (inside & out envelopes). I have approx. 125 invites to do.

I am going crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There is so much to still do.

Hi Lizlen,

Always to the rescue...THANK YOU so much for your advice. I never thought of that.

I guess I will try it at work. I have Microsoft Word at work. I was kind of 'reprimanded' at work for looking at wedding stuff at work even though it is usually not during work hours. Oh well, I will do my best here at FMIL.

Anyway, I will keep all of you posted...and I will try and stop stressing

Success to all of us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know that the company (encore) that prints out my invitations, charges $2.25/invitation if it's inner and outer envelope.

Good luck!

I am probably going to use Inkspun too. I don't have my invitations yet so I'm stil debating doing them myself. There was a card at the GTG for 100 free placeards if you do the inner & outer envelopes.

Re: CALLIGRAPHY HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you have access to Excel you can do a mail merge and do the address that way. Enter the Title (Mr/Mrs), First Name. Last Name, Address, City, State, Zip and Country (if necessary). I would email you a spreadsheet, but I don't know how to attach it.

I don't know if you have a PDA (Palm Pilot) but that is how I did all my invites. You just have to enter all the info, but in the long run its worth it.

I'm doing my envelopes on MS Word using mail merge. The font I picked it called English vivace (sp?). It's a fancy calligraphy type script. Trust me it saves alot of money, calligraphy can get expensive especially when you have alot of envelopes.

I did exactly what buttafli did (different font tho) and they came out GREAT! truly, no problems at all and I was prepared for some with extra envelopes, didn't even need them! PERFECT. downloaded a font from dafont.com
