Just to let you all know - I'm so happy - I booked my makeup artist for the day! She made me look so amazing, I was ready to cry. I walked into my FH's house, and his mom said.... Who are you?????

I'm soooooooo happy!!! OMG - I can't believe we're in the new year.... overnight it feels like the period of time to our weddings has decreased by 5 months!!!! Anxiety time...............
Can't wait to see everyone at the GTG!!!

You guys will laugh so hard when you hear about my new years. I fell asleep!!!! FI and I both did!!! At 11:59 I woke him up... I cried thinking about the crazy year we are coming into and how great 2002 was!!!! I cried for like 30 minutes- never have before!!!!! I used to be so cool!!! I don't know what happended to me. I'm like a total dork now!!!lol!!!

I cry EEVRY year when the ball drops but for some strange reason I didn't last night. Eyeryone was excited hugging me and telling me what a great year I had ahead of me and I was peacefully calm. It was sooo weird. Even when I hugged FI it was so nice. No tears just alot of hugging and kissing. We had a blast. Didin't go to bet til 5 AM!!!!!!!

Once the ball dropped it felt like the wedding is sooo close. FI woke me up to see it. We were watching MTV and I was so happy for the girl who got engaged- had no clue who she is but I was like 'oh she must be sooo happy!'

Yay! I ordered my dress today. I took the measurements and my consultant took pics of me in the dress- probably about 10 pics or so... It was so funny!!!
Before April, I just need to pick out and get bm dresses, hair and makeup person, finalize menu with venue, select baker for cake, and meet with the rabbi for religious counseling-(Jewish version of pre-cana). One less thing to worry about!!!
BTW, I had my make-up trial done with Pauline. She did my hair too, but I wasn't so thrilled with the hair. The make-up was wonderful!!!

I have no idea. I wanted to go to the Bridal Suite in Centereach, Bridal refelctions in Carle Place and David's Bridal. i have heard raves about the first location and horror stories about the last 2 but I form my own opinion so i'll try them out. Any suggestions???

Curly-I think I am getting my bm's dresses at Centereach bridal. They are like 5 minutes from my house and so far everytime I 've been there to browse, everyone has been so nice and helpful. Good luck!

Congratulations Septyay on ordering your dress. You must be so excited. I have to do the dress thing soon as well. I have to get moving on so many tings. We are meeting with Wild Rose video this weekend and also hopefully start the search for BM's dresses.

Curly- Try the Bridal Reflections in Massapequa-- They showed me a bunch of dresses for less than 1500--ask for Gloria---she was really nice-- she even encouraged me to get the less expensive dress becaue she thought it looked better on me. I haven't ordered anything yet but you should definitely go there.
