I was just wondering where all you 9/03 brides were at with your vendors & things. EVERYONE keeps telling me that I am soooooo ahead of myself, but I feel like I'm lagging, and that not everything is going to be done by the time the wedding comes around......

I don't know how it happened but I have turned into a crazy bride-to-be. I mean we only have 8 months left and all of a sudden I have SO MUCH to do. I still don't have BM dresses, therefore no color scheme, therefore I don't even want to look at flowers or save the dates yet. UGH!

Everyone keeps telling me it will get done and I'm hoping they are right. At least we have eachother for recommendations and more importantly motivation. We need a fire under our you know whats!!
Sept2703 - we have the same wedding day. There aren't many of us out there.

You HAVE to Curly!!!! We have to get off our keisters (sp?) ladies.... All I have been posting about is total bs.... the weather, our FI's, steak on Atkins, weekend/holiday plans... you get the point----- Time to move forward into the second stages of planning!!!

I know how you feel. I was off for like ONE day and came pack and HAD to read thru 5 pages. If I didn't I felt like I missed something CRUCIAL to my wedding planning process, LOL!!!!!

wow, after reading part of this thread (25 pages is just too long!) i feel really behind. hence my user name.
i'm getting married sept 13 at the old field club in setauket. so far we have the place (obviously) so that takes care of the ceremony and reception. we also have the officiant, a family friend and we have the florist, a relative (great way to save money!)
i've looked at dresses online for me and the bm's, but haven't gone shopping yet.
we've picked out china and crystal but not registered yet.
i still need: photographer dj limos invites (though i think i've settled on what i want) dresses for everyone favors need to pick flowers
and all those other details, things for flower girl and ring bearer, bubbles, cameras etc.
the biggest prob is that i live in virginia right now so i can't really get to see vendors very easily. yikes you all have me freaked out thanks! (just kidding) i'm sure it's all going to come together but it won't be easy. i'll have to rely a lot on my mom b/c my sister/matron of honor just had a baby! (on jan 2)
i also have to contend with moving to nyc this summer and finding a new job. ahhh the stress. anyways, just wanted to introduce myself and tell you a little about my situation. sorry it was so long. this seems like a really cool site!

WOW!!! my list was busy today. 2 new Sept brides in one day!!! YAY!!!! Well, Welcome aboard and if there is anything I can do to help, just yell, lol!!!!
As far as BM's dresses, I am ordering them at netbride.com, very reasonably priced. Check them out.
Photo I recommend Cassarino and Video most people like Wild Rose Video. You picked a very pretty location. Good luck!!
Reallybehind - you have alot going on. We are here to help if you need anything. This board is great for recommendations b/c it cuts your research of vendors down so much.
