I was just wondering where all you 9/03 brides were at with your vendors & things. EVERYONE keeps telling me that I am soooooo ahead of myself, but I feel like I'm lagging, and that not everything is going to be done by the time the wedding comes around......

Hi girlies..... I am back!!! I made it the whole weekend and missed you all so much!!! Lisa- hope your birthday was wonderful and you did something great--- what did you get as a present? I have to watch the Jets game now but will be back soon!!! Did I miss anything---- wow guys- page 30!!! How the h did the 04 brides get their own deal and we did not. Bummer!!!!

Oh just a wedding update-I met w/ Laurie Studios on Thursday but felt they were a little pricey and out of range. Which ****s is that I am good friends w/ the owners sister and she didn't even cut us any type of deal We are meeting w/ Steve from Patken next Thursday. I heard they are pretty negotiable and will try to work w/in your budget. I'll let you know how everything goes at the GTG!!! Can't wait to meet everyone!

I was so upset about the Jets.... I am really sorry Dani about them not cutting you a deal--- Your friend? In this economy? That sounds terrible.... Steve is supposed to be great! Have you done a search? I am actually switching to Creative Compositions for my phototgrapher! Too much time on my hands has made me sorta sweat! Lisa- once again, I hope the birthday was great- have a drink for me!

OK... so I've come to realize that I've been blessed.... Since we are on such a budget (also including that Pete didn't get a paycheck last week ((whole other story on that one)) I'll tell you at the GTG)... I went to his house yesterday, and he said.... don't look don't smell just go into the other part of the house, and STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, he calls me to the table in about a half hour, and much to my surprise, I was in for a 7 course meal!

Mescaline Salad
Fresh French Onion Soup
Penne a la Vodka w/sundried tomatoes
Mussels (they were huge!) w/wild long grain rice
Angus steak w/a twice baked potato & fresh green beans sauteed in a oil & fresh garlic mixture (mmmmmmmm)
Then we had eaten this a couple of times at a brazilian churascarria b4 it closed.... A peach scooped out as best he could, and he filled it with sorbet (normally you match the sorbet flavor to the fruit, but he couldn't find peach, so he used strawberry.... no matter - it was still devine!)
Then he got me a cheesecake as dessert!!!!!

No way.... I didn't finish not near everything...... The only things I definitely finished were the salad & soup - my 2 favorite things....

Sometimes I wonder how I lucked out!!!!

Marisa- So, how was the ski trip??
My notes- Lisa got her BM dresses, is not feeling well maybe ulcer) and it was her B-day on Sun. Danirn is still searching for a photographer after her 'friend' didn't cut her a deal :-(. Not much else to report

Lnp- WOW!! what a guy. See, doesn't that put all the weeding planning time and effort in perspective and all worth it!!!!!!!!

Curly- The ski trip was a lot of fun! The fun was delayed in the middle when my MOH called and argued with me about the dresses I chose, asked if they could have wraps and could they make them instead of buying them? and could my sister pick out a different dress so she wouldn't wear the same dress as my other two bridesmaids and she would instead wear what a larger 350 ib bridesmaid was wearing... I was like, NO WAY! My FI was so ticked off at the sheer nerve some people have. Ahhhhh!!!!

Lisa- Glad to hear that you had such a great brithday. Pete sounds like a real prize. TJ could take a lesson or two.... Hee hee.

Sorry about the Jets. We were bummed this weekend too b/c the Steeler's lost as well or as FH says - we we robbed!! Yes, we are Steeler fans. Sorry!!
