Calling all Bourne Mansion Brides

We were just estimating the invites....OUCH!!! Almost 300.
I was looking at the website and it says that it can hold 275.

Does anyone know the actual, comfortable amount??
I would hate to put people in the sunroom. I would feel like they were not part of the wedding.
Ben told us that it has been done before, he said that the older people liked it in there because it was a little quieter.

Does anyone know?
Those who were already married there, how many people did you invite?
If you're still planning, how many do you intend to invite?

I would say 180 w/ a band & maybe 200 w/ a DJ (and that is pushing it my opinion).
We had between 160 and 170 show and we invited about 185.

i think 210 is the most you can have in the main room - then after that it is the room with the bar - the room past the bar and on the other side of the room

when we decided on the Bourne - we really cut our list
we used these rules -(1) if the bride and groom don't know them- not invited- went for parents friends
(2) no and guest -unless seriously dating
(3) had to have contact with the person in the last year and not just to say we were engaged
