We are having our engagement pics done on Sunday in Central Park...Nicole just called my FH and told him we would have to pay for the photographer's (Jay) parking...I have never heard this before and surely I would think SOMEONE on here would have mentioned it...
Also, did anyone tip them the day of, or after the pics were done, or even after wedding pics were done?
Does anyone have their proofs to share with me?
Did anyone have Jay???

When we booked they told us that we would have to pay for tolls and parking. We took our pictures on Long Island (Sunken Meadow). We tipped them $50 each (photo and video). FM me with any questions.

We did our casual day shoot in Central Park and the Seaport back in May.
We had Alberto (photos) and Eric (for our sketch video) but we weren't asked to pay for their parking/tolls. We tipped each of them $50 the day of the shoot when we were done. I've heard some people wait and tip when they pick up their proofs. Either way is perfectly fine.
I could be 100% wrong -- but maybe they are asking to pay for Jay's tolls/parking because its a weekend? We did our casual shoot during the week. Again, I could be entirely wrong..

We are actually doing another set of casual pics next year before the wedding (with video) so I am not sure how I will handle tipping...but thank you so much for your insight!

Wow -- I like the idea that you are having 2 sets of casual day pics done.. I told my DH I wish we could do a set of pics with Duet every year on our anniverary because we never looked so good
So you'll have one set for 'engagement' pics and set closer to the wedding w/video and for your signing board? Did you pay extra or pay separately to have an additionl casual day done? Either way its a great idea! If we had a longer engagement we might have done the same.
SO in your case, I can see your point.. tipping is going to get expensive.. Maybe wait until you pick up the proofs to tip, and go from there.

Pics on every anniversary would be very nice!
We are doing 2 sets of e-pics since we are having a e-party this November and wanted some pics to put on display there...don't want the video now, so we asked them if we can do a second sitting next year..maybe something different like the beach. We did pay a little extra, but not much.
As for tipping, we will play it by ear!
Will let you know how it goes, and will post proofs as soon as they come!
