I have a ? for you. I am having both makeup & hair stylists come to my house for me on the day of the wedding. As you know, this will be a really really early day for everyone involved - especially the bridal party.
I feel that if any of my BM's want to have their hair/makeup done at my house by these people , they can. If they want to go elsewhere - that's fine too.
My mother thinks that having these girls (not sure about numbers -- could be 2 ? could be 5? ) is insane. She thinks that most of them should 'show up ready'. But this is *early*. There is a slight chance that salon will not be open this early.
we have a basement that can be designated as the 'get ready' area... any experiences from your end?

We did it. I got ready first (started at 5am), the MOH came at 6am and the rest came about 7am - we were all ready and started pictures a little before 9am. It worked out fine.
Everyone put their dress on when their hair and make up was done. It only takes a few minutes to slip a dress and shoes on

2 of my BM's slept at the my house, but for my ceremony which started at 11:30am, we had to be ready to leave by 8:30am(we were taking pics before the cermony) My hair came at 5am & makeup at 6am. I would have them bring their dresses then get dressed after they are prettied up.

I'm not having an early ceremony, but most of my BM's are from out of town, so I had no choice but to get someone to come to my house. I have 5 girls getting ready at my house and in order to accomodate the group, we will also have designated areas to get ready in- thank god for central air!!

be careful about the power though! i had 6 girls getting ready at my place (not for wedding, it was another event) and the power went out because of all the curling irons/straighteners/etc. just make sure you know where the power box is so you can get it back on.

we are going to cactus salon at 7am to have hair and makeup done. 5 girls are going to one, 3 are going to another and 3 are going to another so that they didn't need to be there before 7..i just hope everyone gets done in time for the limo to pick us up at 915..arrrggh

I'm having the hair & make up person come to my house in the morning, but the BM (all 2 of them) will be getting ready at their own houses that morning...one is my FSIL and she'll have to get her two boys ready in the a.m. and I'm sure her husband too.... Still not sure what time I need to get moving...I need to be at WM and ready for pics at 9am! So I'm thinking...
