I think there is a whole site because, with a few exceptions, most African American and Caribbean weddings are within the culture, whereas a lot of typically 'caucasian' weddings mix nationalities and so the weddings take on traditions from both the bride and groom's side.

Well I am not even African American nor amd I even marrying one. But I am hoping to get ideas on hairstyles and makeup and other things that, although they look great on caucasian women, the won't on me.

Im really surprised by the reaction on this thread.... I think its a great idea!!! Its tailored to the african american bride who is looking for information not so easily found here on LIW. Bravo Ron & Liz!!!!

oh i think it's a good idea, i just didnt understand at first why it was just for african american brides.
