Hi ladies again, Can you tell I'm stressed today? So.....I've decided not to block rooms off at FOX HOLLOW. They were a little too pricey for me. If you didn't block rooms at the Fox Hollow Inn..where did you book your rooms?

I looked at the executive inn. It is right up the block from the Fox and their rates were more reasonable. I didn't see the rooms, but they do offer a shuttle.

We haven't blocked yet we are trying to figure it out still they want to hold the rooms with our money and idk if we can since we need our money for other wedding things

I did block rooms at the Inn but I also blocked rooms at Four Points by Sheraton in Plainview. Their prices were really good for any OOT who don't want to pay the prices at the Inn.
Also check out Huntington Hilton, Marriott in Melville and Fairfield Inn at Syosset

They only hold CC info in case you don't fill up the rooms that you hold... If all the rooms are sold, they won't charge you.

They dont provide a shuttle though

Although I am not a FH Bride, I am a CB Bride.
I booked at four points Sheraton. They are a little further, but it came out cheaper.

We are blocked at the new Hampton Inn on Jericho Tpk in Westbury. $119/night includes breakfast.
We didn't block at the Fox Hollow...way too $$.
Edit: ...way too $$ aaaaand we would have had to guarantee a certain amount filled and otherwise we'd have to pay.

No freezing. They just hold onto the info. If rooms aren't filled, they'll let you know and then charge accordingly. Otherwise, it never gets used. Don't worry, that was my fear too but Ray was really nice and explained really well.
