calling all morning or early afternoon brides!

Ladies I am working on a timeline. Did you go to a salon or have hair and makeup come to you? What time did you start?

I had a noon wedding, and I had hair at 5am and makeup came at 6. We started taking pictures around 8. But I had a lot of people having hair done, so it really depends on how many people you have. Best bet is to speak to your hair and makeup girls, find out how long it will take, and count back from there.

eta: I forgot to add; they both came to me. No salon was open that early!

My wedding is at 1pm. I have both hair and makeup coming to me to do me and my girls and my mom. Prob starting at 7am and that's with two hair dressers and two make up artists. 6 BM's, MOB and myself.

If your wedding is an earlier than that I would def say have them come to you. Will save LOADS of time and less hassle of running around.

ETA: My photographer wants to start taking pics around 11/11:30 and limo is picking up at 12:30

Our ceremony is at 12:30, but we're having pictures taken beforehand, around 9 am. Hair & makeup are both coming to us at the inn next door to Fox Hollow around 6am.

I was wondering this myself. I have to be ready or at least hair and make up done by 8:30 for the photographer and the festivities begin at 11 for me. I don't even know how long it takes to do hair and makeup but I am thinking no later than 5- especially since a bunch of my girls are getting theirs done as well- God that is so early. should have thought that through before deciding on a morning wedding

We had people come over. We started just before 6 AM (they came early!) and did our pictures at 9 AM. I'd estimate about 1\2 hour for hair and 1\2 hour for makeup for the girls...and a little longer for you (maybe 45 - 1 hour each, depending on how complex it is...usually they spend longer on the bride to make her look extra special).

And schedule some buffer time because it takes some time for them to unpack and set up. I put in about a 1\2 hour - 45 min buffer time and we still left slightly later than planned.

Church was at 2:00. I had my hair stylist and make up artist come to me. They both got there around 8:30, 9:00 and were done by 12:00- which is when the photographer got there. Worked out really well. It was nice not having to run back and forth from the salon, etc.

Hey date twin!! i'm doin the same thing! My ceremony starts at 10:30 and we have to leave at 10...I'm guessing my makeup and hair girl will be coming to me around 5.

5 girls getting hair
6 getting makeup

My girls are gonna KILL me!

My ceremony is at 9:45am. Yes.....that's right. 9:45!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The reception starts at noon. We are going to the salon for 5am.

11:30 wedding so hair and makeup coming at 6 am we are doing our photos before service at 930 but i am only getting mine.mob and maybe 1 bm so it will be fast

Hair and Makeup came to me! 2 hair dresses came.

4:45am shower
5:15 - Start hair and makeup (me + 3 BM and mom had a blow out)
7:30 - photographer arrived
8:30 we are all done and I put on my dress
8:45 leave for RH
9:15 start pictures with FH and bridal party
10:45 pictures done
11:00 ceremony!

Whew! It was a wirlwind!

I know I feel the same way about my girls. Five is definitely an early morning start time.

We have to rehearse prior to the ceremony, and our ceremony starts at 11:30. Our hair and makeup person is coming to the hotel at freakin' 5AM! Ha ha! We have like 6 girls though.
