I have been doing alot of research for our RH. We love the looks of North Ritz for our Feb 2012 wedding.
Could you share with me if you were able to get any 'extras' --- above their normal wedding package or if you were able to switch anything from their normal wedding pkg. We are not really good hagglers but will give it a try.
IS anyone using any nearby hotel for guests and the wedding night?

we got the full vienese for only $5 pp and they threw in an extra half hour for FREE and gave us 2 extra stations for cocktail hour

yes they come down quite a bit on price and they will throw in stuff
we booked them but ended up cancelling
but they gave us VH with the extra hour for free extra CH station-free martini bar for CH and for entire reception -free extra carving station- roast pig -free
half price seafood bar
and they came down on price i forget exact numbers, I think our price was lik 90 pp ++ for a friday night in June

ask for EVERYTHING, we had nadine, there wasn't much she said no to
FH was trying to get seafood bar for free lol
she offered to have surf/turf as entree option i think for 3 dollars more pp?? but instead we did seafood bar for half price
and if u book, hit hte price with a hammer first! then go for freebies lol
oh also no ceremony fee

We have Nadine also, she is so sweet! She gave us free vienese and cut the martini bar and ceremony fees in half.
But i also heard that if you are a decent amount above you minimum at your final meeting you can get a lot more thrown in for free.

Ditto. We got the Viennese thrown in, and then at our menu selection they upgraded one of our chafing dishes and threw in a martini luge. Also, they surprised us with an additional carving station as well. We were only supposed to have two, but I noticed on the video that there were three

I got many of the same things the other brides have gotten.
At final menu meeting, we got an upgraded fish selection for the entree. They also gave DH and I lobster tails with dinner. I missed most of my cocktail hour, but I believe there was an extra selection thrown in there.

Going to my cousin's wedding there on Friday. She didn;t go into specifics but she said they threw in a lot for her and she loves it.

Double ditto - VH was thrown in for free, we were offered the upgraded fish selection, threw in the martini luge, and an extra 'gluten free' CH station (since my mom has celiac disease).
They're very negotiable -such a great venue & awesome food. Wish I had gotten to see more of the CH!

When you meet George for your final menu meeting, try to get more....he threw in a little for us, but day of I saw we had an extra cocktail hour station as a surprise and some other extra things.
