I have visited a few different Photographers and only one of them gave u such a hard time about the lack of sunlight we will have. We want to have our pictures taking at the country club. They suggested going to a closer place. We have about a 20 min drive from the church to the RH. We are only having a ceremony. It's a 3pm. Did you have enough time to get all your pictures in before the sun went down?

Another 10/27 bride here....
is that photographer saying you shouldn't drive straight to the RH for pix following church? that you should stop somewhere closer to the church? that seems odd to me. if it's only 20 mins, you should be totally fine.

Yes, they are saying to go a location closer to the church so we can capture all of the sunlight. My FH and I have decided on a different photographer that we have an appointment with to sign the contract next week. He has reassured me that we will have plenty of time.

I was October 1st, but I did my pictures after my reception was over at 5pm at a location 20 minutes away and still got all of them done.

I'm 10/12/07 and the sun is setting at 6:22pm on my day...
If you're getting married at 3pm and sun goes down at 6:04pm, that should be more than fine.

I got married on October 8th and our ceremony ended at 3:30pm and there was plenlty for sunlight time...I don't think the sun went down til like 7pm

Hi
I got married on 10/28 - church was at 2:30 and it was almost 4:30 by the time we got to the wcc. We were definately rushed for daylight - once the sun starts to go down it goes down quickly. It is dark even before the official sunset time. You have to think what is the earliest you will be at the country club and push it back a half hour. THen you should have a better idea if you can do it.
