Need some help with our STD wording!!! This is what I have so far...

By now you’ve heard
Nicki and Josh are engaged
It’s been a few months
And plans have been made
The place has been booked
The date is all set
We hope you will join us
On the day we’ll be wed


Can't figure out the set/wed thing!!

Help???

This is what we had on our STD. It's the same meaning but different words.

Our plans have been made
we can hardly wait
we want you to be with us
so be sure to save the date.

I need to think about what you have written and I'll see if I can come up with something else.
