Calling all TEACHERS.............

If you happen to know whether your district is looking for any art teachers next year could you please FM me? Thanks a bunch. Any help is appreciated.

I'm only certified in NY but wouldn't mind NJ if I could figure out how to become certified there.

If you don't mind teaching high school, I strongly advise looking into the Sewanhaka Central High School District. There are five schools, which means a lot of openings for any discipline. FM me for more info.

I am an F status teacher in Queens and it looks like there will be no full-time openings for me in September . So I am looking for a full-time position.

As much as I would like to stay in Queens, I would travel to any school that is great. I would hate to travel to the Bronx and work in a horrible atmospshere.

With all of these DOE changes I don't think will ever find a full-time job.

If anyone has any leads for Catholic, private or public positions, please let me know,

Good luck.. I haven't heard anything from my district.. I am still waiting to get tenure for my art position
I can tell you what districts to stay away from ( especially in the art teaching field)

DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR AN ART POSITION.. ..Specificaly Sewanhanka High School

thanks Millie I appreciate it!! I'm trying to stay on LI if I can. I remember last year when the class before me graduated there were so many job openings for Speech, and now I'm hearing there aren't so many now I hope it turns around by August.
