calling all those who did chinese slippers

how did you know what sizes to get and how many of each size?

i've just decided that i'm doing this, and i'm hoping to order sometime today. i just don't know how many to order

any suggestion will be welcomed

I did a mix of 7,8,9 the average sizes. I did 4 size 6 for those little feet and 6 size 10 for the bigger ones. I did a total of 60 pair. I tried a few on at different places and they all ran small. HTH

My best friend did these at her wedding and they were a huge hit! she went into Chinatown and got them for a dollar a pair! cheap!

I ordered 48 pairs in total spanning sizes 5, 6, 7,8,9,and 10

I am getting 100 pairs.

Here is my breakdown (keep in mind that many of the women in my family have big feet. heehee):

Size 6: 10
Size 7: 20
Size 8: 25
Size 9: 25
Size 10: 20

I ordered 100 of them in bulk from mysister.com, and they send a variety of all sizes. They were super cheap too!

ETS: BTW, they were a HUGE HUGE hit! My female guests thought it was the best idea ever!

from what i've seen, many of the girls here have used mysisterusa.com

or you can call them 718-204-2176

i have NOT placed my order with them, yet, but i hear wonderful things about this company. many of the girls say, that if you're going to call, ask to speak with brenda. they claim she is the BEST.

i'll be calling during my lunch break.

now... the 411 about the slippers.
if you decide to use them, you're offering them to your female guests as a courtesy. if they dance the night away, their feet will hurt in high heels. this is to give them a break. many girls put each pair in an organza bag with a pretty tag and then put them all in a big wicker basket.

you can search bhb or diy for more tips, advice, and pics on what girls have done.

I've never tried on these chinese slippers. are they cushiony on the soles?

I couldn't tell from the pix on the web. TIA! I love the idea of a slipper basket.

i just called brenda at mysister. she was just as nice and helpful as everyone said she would be. i didn't have my cc with me so i didn't complete the order. i'm still not sure how many of which sizes.

i only need 40. i'm guessing that 32 could be divided between sizes 7,8,9 and then have the last 8 divided between sizes 6 and 10.

what do you think?

I know someone that did this at their wedding it was amazing!! so i am putting them in my bridesmaids bags and also the OOT bags in everyones hotel rooms

I did the exact same thing and ordered mine from a vendor on Ebay....although i did flip flops not chinese slippers

Does anyone have pictures of the slippers they ordered from mysisterusa?? Its so hard to tell from the website whether the $1 are nice or not. Some of the other ones look more cushiony.
