I am planning to buy a baseball bat for my little ringbearer and have it engraved but I am trying to think of something along the lines of
'nicholas was there when tara and eddie joined the same team'
but I thought I should mention something about him being the ringbearer, any ideas??

Re: Calling creative brides
How about:
'Our ringbearer, nicholas was there when tara and eddie joined the same team'
I'm trying to think of others...

Re: Calling creative brides
Nicholas 'the ringbearer' [insert last name?] hit one out of the park at xx and xx wedding!
I like the other ones better though

Re: Calling creative brides
Wow you guys really are creative!
My friend was saying he thought the baseball thing was a little much that I should just write our names and the wedding date, do you think he is right?

It's totally up to you!!!! I think both would be nice! - ask the store. I'm sure they have seen a bunch of this stuff and they might have a better suggestion!

Re: Calling creative brides
I think you should just write his name. This way, he'll always remember your wedding when he looks at/uses it, but he can also show it off to his friends. I don't know, but when he's a little older, he might get some flack from his friends about being 'Nick the MVP ringbearer at Tara's wedding in 2003'

Re: Calling creative brides
HAHA that is true, maybe I will leave out the MVP thing and just go with the Nicholas was there when tara and eddie joined the same team like I was thinking from the start.

Re: Calling creative brides
someone just suggested 'nicholas was a hit'

Re: Calling creative brides
Tara, personally, I wouldn't put you or Eddie's name or wedding date on it.. I mean, would you really hang something up that had someone's wed date and names??
I would just put his name and then perhaps on the card you can write everything else..
Those bats are more like memoriabelia, you know?

Re: Calling creative brides
why cant she put their names on it...after all it was their wedding.
How about putting the slogan with name and date on the back and just nicholas (and last name)on the front. this way he can hang it up with his name facing out but in the back is a reminder of where it came from.
