Calling Disney Girls!

Calling Disney Girls!

Okay... we're staying at the Grand Floridian...

we were GOING to go to Fulton's Crab House the first night, but should we just eat at Narcoosee's instead? That's right IN the Grand Floridian? That DOES make more sense, but I wanted to go to Downtown Disney to order our personalized Christmas ornaments on night one so they'd be done by the end of our trip (that was a tip I got from someone else).

should I just screw it and eat in our hotel at a highly recommended restaurant overlooking the Magic Kingdom inthe comfort of our hotel and not go crazy catching a bus our first night there? I just don't know when, in our schedule, we're gonna be able to make it to Downtown Disney, including for the New Year's Eve celebration

You all recommend Narcoosee's, right? Romantic? Great view?

I would go with Narcoosee's. Fulton's is often VERY VERY busy (it's between downtown disney & pleasure island) and although I have had very good meals there, once we left before dinner because the sound was insanely deafening! Narcoosee's (IMHO) is more romantic (you're right over the water, overlooking the MK, the boat launches going by, the electrical light parade, perhaps fireworks, depending on the time). And, as you said, you can just walk right back to your room (or, I'd recommend going up to the lounge Mizner's on the 2nd floor in the lobby building for a post-dinner drink & some live music

OMG Narcosse for sure....that place is amazing we went there twice...Downtown Disney is a PIA to get to. We also went to Victoria and Alberts the first night...it was nice...very expensive.....food was good but maybe too gourmet for our tastes

We loved Epcot for New Year's Eve...we went around the countries for 'their' new year's eves (i.e. France celebrated theirs around 7 o' clock or so....different countries did theirs for their time zone, so we had toasts with the people in the countries at 'midnight'!) The midnight (US time) fireworks were great!!!!! I love Disney.
