Calling East Wind Brides - What Hotel/s are you using for your guests?
I am getting married at East Wind in Wading River. Can any brides recommend hotels they are using in the area or have used for their wedding guests besides East Wind? I already have 10 rooms booked for East Wind, but their prices might be a little high for some of my guests, so I wanted to give them another option. Any ideas? Also, if you have shuttle information, that will be greatly appreciated as well.

We're using Hotel Indigo in Riverhead. They were the cheapest option. The other ones are the Holiday Inn and the Hilton (both also in Riverhead). We actually don't have anyone staying at East Wind

I'm trying to figure out hotels also.....
There's the Hilton and Holiday Inn nearby...
Did you see the Hotel Indigo? Is it nice? Do they provide a shuttle to East Wind?

Hilton Garden Hotel and Holiday Inn express...holiday inn will provide a shuttle if you have 15 rooms booked. hotel indego is being redone (it was the best western) they are also suppose to be building a hotel next to the aquarium

Hotel Indigo (being remodeled and supposed to open soon, used to be the Best Western) and the Holiday Inn are owned by the same company. Both are located in Riverhead. Both provide shuttles to certain reception venues free of charge if you book a certain amount of rooms.
The Holiday Inn is a little cheaper. I think guests get a complimentary continental breakfast (like danishes and cereal). But there's no real bar or restaurant. I think they said there's a rollout bar, but not sure what that means. Hotel Indigo is supposed to have a bar and restaurant.
There's also a Hilton Garden in Riverhead across from the Holiday Inn. I think the prices were about the same as the Holiday Inn. I don't think they provide a free shuttle and I believe they have a restaurant and bar.
Good Luck!

There's a pretty new Holiday Inn in Riverhead... think that's the one that people are talking about. It's pretty reasonable and nice. I am sure they cna do a shuttle for you. I am from Wading River and that's the only hotel I really know of that is nice near there!
