Calling February Brides!

How are things going with all of your planning? Reception Hall, menu detail, etc... I have not met with the hall yet but if they don't call me by the end of the week I will call them.. But I just feel like there is so much to do and only 6 weeks to do it.......I feel like breaking down every 10 minutes... Am I the only one???? Please tell me no.

I am feeling the same way- My wedding is 2/7 and I have a two page list of things I need to get done. My hall called me and I went last week to pick out the menu. I was off for two weeks being a teacher so I got a lot of stuff done but it is coming down to the wire... Yeah! I am so excited though!

I am going to the florist this saturday to sample the centerpieces and i have to visit the DJ, Photographer and Video by the end of the month in order to do all of those detail.. Plus I still have to go to the reception hall... And i feel like it is just getting closer and closer and i am losing it more and more...

i saw the sample centerpieces but I have the Dj and photographer to go to still.... I know.. the list I have never seems to get smaller...but just think we will be married before you know it an don our honeymoon!!!

I am soooo stressed!!!! I tried calling my hall 2 x's and no return calls!!! Im annoyed. Actually, I tried calling several vendors and they haven't called!! I still need bridal party gifts, reserve rehearsal dinner location, get a new hairdresser (she backed out), buy my wedding accessories, and order my favors!!! Im stressed!!!! Help!!! To top it off, my FH sister and future step-mil are not talking. They are making this all about them!!! My FSTepMIL is upset b/c she is not a bridesmaid!!!! Yes, you heard me right!!! A bridesmaid!!!! I asked her previously to be a reader and I guess it wasn't enough!! MY FMIL promised to make me a shower and it hasn't or won't happen b/c she hasn't asked me for my list. So how am doing with my planning? I need some dye for my Grey Hairs. LOL

ETA: Future Step mother threatened not to go to the wedding b/c Fsister in law might cause a scene!!

JUJU--- I am sorry to hear about the dilemmas... I can't believe that your step FMIL wants to be a BRIDESMAID tHAT IS JUST WAY TOO WEIRD.. I still have to order favors, still have to do a lot of things.... I have not called any vendors yet, probably in the next 2 weeks to set up an appointment.. But i am going to the florist.. I have to try the reception hall by the end of the week if they don't call me... Isn't it so annoying when people don't call you back.. You are like 'HELLO'...THIS IS MY WEDDING HERE...DOESN'T ANYONE UNDERSTAND... you are practically on edge all the time, i find myself turning into a walking basketcase..... sometimes i think i am losing my mind for getting so upset over things..

OH BOY! Yes it is all crazy !I saw my sample center piece Friday, no word from my hall either but I will call them if they do not call me by the end of the week. I need to order placecard holders, meet with the photographer and DJ! We will make it ladies!!!!!

It is hard... Because I am trying to be so happy during the greatest time in my life but yet the planning just is so much stressssssss.......

Thanks gals. It doesn't end there but I will just leave it at that. It's good to know that there is someone out there who haven't ordered their favors yet. I'm looking for the perfect blend coffee favor. I can't remember where I saw it. My FH did not like it at first but he warmed up to it. I have never seen this favor at weddings so why not. Im actually meeting with Jack from Jack and Rose this week and with my seamstress. The good thing is all I need to do for alterations is the hem and bustle. ONly because my dress is corsett style and doesn't need to be altered anywhere else.

Sp04, I hear you. I feel sorry for my FH too b/c he is caught in the middle. He knows I am upset too. So I try not to add anymore stress to him. He will be upset if they don't patched it up. To me, I don't care anymore! They are not going to ruin my day!

At least you have a few more days than me. Tomorrow will be a month before my wedding. Woo HOo!!

JUJU does he get along with his stepmother? And is the sister in law his sister or is it his brother's wife?? I understand.. Don't you just hate it when other people have a comment about your wedding and make it seem like something has to be about them!!! OH!! I hate that...I think to myself this is my day not yours... How could something upset someone else.. Some people just feel the need to have everything revolve around themselves..

he gets along with his step mother and it's his sister. No one gets along with his sister. They both are on my nerves right now. I have kept my distance b/c I don't want to say anything out of anger.

I am on the verge of a breakdown. There is SO much to do in the next few weeks. I am very nervous. Hopefully everything will go as planned.

I kow that feeling! Soooo much to still do and not enough time to get things done! The break down are getting more and more. I went to a expo to get one last food taste before we pick the menu on Thurs. I had my fitting yesterday, and got my shoes. I still have no favor and need to do that this week. The dj and photographer told me not untill the mid of Feb. The rehearsal well it looks like I will not be having one! My florist is out of town untill the 19th and we need to add 2 bouques(spelling sorry) and a jr bridesmaid one.I just want to get this over with and get to the honeymoon!!!!!
