Calling May Brides Past, and May Brides Future

hey Girls,

What flowers are in season during May. Do any of you have pics of your Bok

what color bridesmaid dresses did or will your girls wear.

I'm a May 15 Bride planning a Long Island Wedding From Maryland. I hardly have anything done. Its so hard to plan from afar!!

Ho Hum.

Any ideas of Centerpieces?

hello! as far as in season flowers check out www.theknot.com, they have a lot of flowers and tell you when they are in season. you can also try www.theweddingchannel.com for really great flower advice. i know nothing about flowers and they really helped me a lot. my girls will be wearing a periwinkle shade of blue and carrying hand tied bouquets of hydrangea and roses. my date is 5/22/04. good luck! don't be overwhelmed, you have plenty of time to get things accomplished!

Hydrangeas seem to be pretty popular! I think I'll be using them too (we used to have them in my backyard when I was a little girl). I'm probably going to see a florist next month for my May '04 wedding. I haven't ordered the BM's dresses yet, but the one I like the best so far is white and pink.

Natalie, there are a bunch of us VA/MD brides on this site. Be on the lookout for a GTG - we should be having one soon!!!
