You should try to talk to him in a calm manner to see if this is what you both want. I would go ahead and sent out a not that you will be post poning the wedding untill future notice, that way you don;t have to go into it with everyone. Sorry to hear let us know if you need to vent more.

how long have you two been together? Getting married is a stressfull time and can bring out the worst in people. He may have issues he's concerned about not involving you but he's taking it out on you (ex: family issues) You need to sit down and have a talk with him. So sorry your going through this :(.

Yes, it's better now then later.......decide together & see what you both want.
I will pray for you. You deserve to be happy.

Re: calling off the wedding

It is truly stressful and FH and I have had our share of fights lately- we are attributing it to wedding stuff since we never fought before we got engaged. Good luck, I will say a prayer for you. Only you and FH can decide what is right for the two of you. We are here when you need to vent!!

especially since this has bothered you before you should address it now. and just as others have said postponing doesnt' mean indefinite.. take care of yourself and take time to reflect ... i'll be thinking of you

So sorry to hear! Can you talk to your pastor/priest/rabbi/religious leader about what's happening? I think you need to communicate with each other and then maybe a trusted outside source. Good Luck! You'll make the right decision, regardless of what it is.

What a hard thing to be going through but I think that whatever you decide it's actually good that you're questioning. .so you can either go through all your doubts and move forward knowing it is right, or trust your heart if you need to back out. so eventually you will move forward in the right way. . whatever you decide just do it for you and don't worry about anyone else's expectations.

communication is the most important element in any relationship... you definitely need to have a conversation with him about how you are feeling. how have you dealt with problems with him in the past?

i agree with ALL the ladies on here. This is some good advice you're already getting, so I'll just say that I'm glad you're thinking about this NOW. Marriage is such a REAL thing and it IS a big deal. No wonder you're thinking about it already, wondering if this is the person you want to spend the rest of your life with. I hate it when people go into marriages with the option of divorce. That shouldn't even be an option to any of us. Really seek out what you're feeling. I'm sure that deep down you already KNOW what's right for your future and his. Whether it's staying together and talking with somebody (like a Pastor, counselor, etc), postponing and working it out together in the meantime, or canceling all together and working on yourselves individually. Whatever you decide, don't let yourself feel 'pressured' into anything just because the invitations are already out. It's not too late until you're at the alter. Good luck with everything. I wish you all the best... you and FH.

Re: calling off the wedding

I would def talk to a marriage counselor who will help you work out whatever issues that are there. You def need to evaluate your feelings first before you enter into marriage, don't look at the fact that you booked everything already, your life and happiness is more important! If anything, you can just postpone your wedding, until you know for sure that this is the man you want to spend the rest of your life with!!

good luck!!!
