Calling People with mini/tiny breeds-(lolita4life).
DH is constantly nagging me saying that he wants to get tic tac a bf. She is a 23lb female beagle. SHe will be 2years old in July. My only problem with that , I do ALL THE WORK-- with tic tac.
I told him, another dog would be insane, 2 much work for me. I like walking her 2x a day. I can't possibly imagine, taking care of another dog when, I am currently working and in school now. He does not seem to understand, that dogs are more work. He have grown up with cats all his life.
But, if all else fails, in the future I have been looking at post of mini-small breeds (no bigger then 10lbs) and just trying to decide which one will be compatable, with her. Tough Decision!!!!

I have a toy fox terrier and I LOVE him. He doesn't bark too much, super affectionate, gets along with all dogs (we have 5 of all different sizes) and is so playful!

We have a pomeranian who are supposedly good dogs to have around other dogs. My pom happens to love everyone and anyone that walks in her view. She espcially loves other dogs bigger than her! ( I think she forgets shes only 6lbs sometimes).
But anyway, she bounces off the walls right now but will supposedly mellow out around 1-1 1/2.

I have a little yorkie she gets along VERY well with my JRT. We can't leave them alone togther though, they play too rough, but that's b'c Gabe is aggressive. If your beage is relatively calm, I think a yorkie is a great 2nd dog. She has to pee like every hour or two though so we use wee wee pads with her.
