if you are a teacher you can purchase the Adobe Creative Suite 2 Premium for about 2-3 hundred. It comes with photoshop, illustrator, indesign, go live, acrobat,

I have it.. but haven't loaded it all yet. You may even be able to purchase just phtoshop witha teacher discount.

you should try getting the educational version. Unless your a graphic artist, you won't need to full version for what I can assume you'll want to do.

It has just about everything the original version has. I'm not sure how much it costs, maybe around $100?

You could also try In Design. It's sort of like Photoshop. May not be less expensive, but it does the same and more than photoshop.

Your photoshop pro at your service! :D

You may want to go with Photoshop Elements which is alot cheaper but has less features.

If you're just starting out Elements is sufficient. Photoshop has way too many features for the average user.

If you're a student you can get photoshop for a few hundred bucks.

Also try paintshop pro which is also good but alot less expensive. Good luck!
