Calling the LIW Prayer Patrol -- Update

Hi Everyone,

We really appreciate the prayers that you've been sending for my grandmother. Please keep the coming!!

Here is the latest on her condition. She made it through the night and is doing as well as can be hoped, but she's not out of the woods yet. She's still on a ventilator, but she can hear us and understand us. Please pray that she has the strength to keep fighting to recover. She's always been on the frail side, and her poor body has been through quite a bit.

She is hanging in there. Thank you so much for asking and for keeping us in your prayers.

She is not out of the woods, yet. They still have her on the ventilator and she is still somewhat sedated. When she's awake, she can nod or shake her head for yes/no questions, but she can't talk to us yet. We just keep telling her that we love and need her and we're just praying that she'll have the strength to keep fighting.

She still has a long road ahead, so we're just trying to take it day by day.

The prayers all of you have been sending are definitley giving us hope and strength.

Just wanted to give all of you wonderful ladies who have been helping us so much with your prayers an update.

They took her off of the ventilator yesterday, but she is still expected to be in the ICU for a few more days. She's doing as well as we could hope right now, but it will be a while before she'll be out of the woods.
